Jazz Vespers Gets Ready for Departure
The jazz quartet Departure will be the featured performers at Jazz Vespers at St. John’s United Church on February 14 at 7:00 p.m. Saxophonist Monik Nordine will be joined by bassist Phill Albert, pianist Brent Jarvis and drummer Buff Allen.

Throughout its history, the church has offered these sacraments as a means of God’s grace. These rituals are powerful means by which our identity is shaped. In this forum we will explore the various meanings associated with these practices, and reflect on our own experiences of baptism and communion. Rev. Beverley Tracey will facilitate this conversation.
